EMMA MASON - COUNSELLOR

EMMA MASON - COUNSELLOR

Hello I’m Emma, a qualified Integrative Counsellor and trained Life Coach. My main goal in therapy is to provide a safe and supportive place for you to explore any issues that you may have. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists and I am currently training with the charity, Talk Listen Change, to become a couples counsellor (I should have completed this training by 2020).

I am a down to earth person who is non-judgmental, open and honest and able to offer empathy and encouragement in order to help you. If you would like to just speak to someone to get things off your chest, I am a great listener too. I have worked with a range of issues in the counselling room, such as anxiety, depression, bereavement and self-esteem, to name a few. Please contact me at emma.mason.counselling@gmail.com or by phone on 07743034177 (please note I will only respond within my working hours). Alternatively, you can check out my website for more information on what types of sessions I offer and pricing – www.emtherapies.co.uk

GERALDINE OSOWSKA - CBT THERAPIST

GERALDINE OSOWSKA - CBT THERAPIST

I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for adults and children aged 11-18.  I treat anxiety, low mood, depression and low self esteem.  I also have a special interest in treating Eating Disorders using CBT-ED. This is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy specifically for Eating Disorders.

In addition to CBT I am also trained in Schema Therapy. This therapy helps those people who find themselves repeating unhelpful life patterns,  even though, these patterns cause difficulties.  It helps us learn about the origins of unhelpful patterns and develop healthier approaches to life.

If you are experiencing low mood or anxiety, repeating unwanted life patterns or battling with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder or Body  Image difficulties contact me to start your recovery journey.

When we first meet I will offer you a warm welcoming environment giving you an opportunity to talk about your issues.  I firmly believe that therapy is individualised; I will offer you space to think, time to talk and room to grow.

LAURA DE COURCY - HYPNOTHERAPIST

Solution Focussed Hypnotherapy – Unlike other therapies, this combination of talking and hypnotherapy encourages you to move on as quickly as possible. I work with children and adults and cover a vast range of issues.
Rather than being problem centered I work with my clients to focus on encouraging change to achieve your personal goals. This approach is highly effective for many conditions.

YVONNE GRIFFITHS - COUNSELLOR

YVONNE GRIFFITHS - COUNSELLOR

I qualified as a Person Centred Counsellor in 2001.  I now work as an Integrated counsellor incorporating different therapies/modalities – recognising that each person has their individual needs.

People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons.  Sometimes because of a life event difficulty and sometimes to gain more insight and self-awareness.  I also work with those experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, loss and grief.

GRIEF RECOVERY – I am a certified Grief Recovery Specialist.  This is an educational method that assists individuals through 1-2-1 or group work to bring completeness to their loss, whether it be through bereavement, breakdown of relationships, loss of employment, health or even loss of a pet.

I can use this method to teach Parents, Guardians and Teachers to help children to grieve effectively.

COUPLE COUNSELLING – I also work with couples in conflict or couples who want to strengthen their relationship and need support to communicate and reconnect with each other.
